The Workers’ Comp Benefits For Which You Are Entitled

If you’ve experienced a work injury, you may be feeling financial strain. Many workers are forced off the job while healing from their injuries. Missed work often means no paycheck. At Weisberg & Klauber, LLC, we want you to focus on your health. Let us handle your benefits claim.

In New Jersey, injured workers are entitled to medical and wage replacement benefits.

Located in Ocean Township and New Brunswick, our firm helps injured workers throughout the Jersey Shore and Central New Jersey obtain the workers’ compensation benefits they need to heal while continuing to support their families.

Get Your Benefits In A Timely Manner

The workers’ compensation system can be complex. Many initial benefits claims are denied because people are unsure of their rights as well as their goals.

Attorney Adam Jon Weisberg has close to two decades of experience navigating the workers’ compensation claims process. He knows what the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation office is looking for when determining whether to approve benefits, and we build sound legal claims that get you the compensation you deserve.

Turning to our firm at the beginning of the process will help ensure you get your deserved benefits in a timely manner.

What Types Of Benefits Are Available?

In New Jersey, individuals are entitled to the following workers’ comp benefits:

  • Medical benefits cover all of your medical treatments. Your employer’s insurance carrier will provide you with a list of approved medical providers. However, in certain circumstances, you can appeal to use the medical provider of your choice.
  • Wage replacement benefits may be temporary or permanent in nature and may reimburse you for up to 70 percent of your average weekly wages.
    • Temporary disability benefits begin once your injury has caused you to miss seven days of work and continue until you have reached “maximum medical improvement (MMI).”
    • If your injury has left you with a permanent partial or total disability, additional benefits are available.
